Macaroni





Serves:2-3
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Macaroni - 2 cups
  • Onion- 1 medium chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium chopped
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
  • Pepper- 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • Basil- 1/2 tsp (optional)
  • Cheese cube - 1 or Butter / Nutrilite- 1 tsp
  • Salt- to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1tsp
  • Oil- 2tsp

Method


  1. Boil 2 cups macaroni with 1 tbsp oil added in water (so as to avoid macaroni getting stick together)
  2. Strain macaroni using a strainer.
  3. Take a deep frying pan/kadhai, add oil.
  4. When oil is warm, add onion, saute till pink.
  5. Add butter/cheese, mix well
  6. Add tomato, cook for 2-3 minutes, add lemon juice.
  7. Add tomato ketchup and mix well.
  8. Now add macaroni and mix well with the prepared masala.
  9. Sprinkle pepper, chili flakes, oregano, basil, salt and mix well.
  10. Cover pan with lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  11. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
