Paneer Toasties -


Here is a recipe sent to me by my dearest friend Shtakshi :) from Sydney.
Finally i got the chance to try it out and publish here as well. This one is a delicious treat for your taste buds.





Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serving: 3-4

Ingredients
1.       Paneer                   1 cup
2.       Suji/semolina-         2tblsp
3.       Salt                      as pertadrte
4.       Black pepper          1/2tsp
5.       Onion                    1 chop it finely
6.       Tomato                  1 finely chopped
7.       Curry leaves            few
8.       mustard seed           1/2 tsp
9.       Amchoor                 1/2tsp
10.   Capsicum                1 finely chopped (optional) 
11.   Bread (brown for the health conscious ones)
12.   Oil for toasting

Method

Mixture
  1. Grate paneer and keep aside.
  2. Take tawa and heat, add some oil and Toast bread, both sides till golden brown.
  3. Mix suji, salt, pepper, Amchoor with Paneer.
  4. Add onion, capsicum; tomato, curry leaves to mixture.
  5. Spread the mix on toasted bread.
  6. Sprinkle mustard seeds and press them so that mix is pressed evenly on the bread.
  7. Heat oil in flat pan.
  8. Once pan is heated...put the bread with paneer side down
  9. Cook till turn golden brown
  10. Cut them in triangle and serve with tomato sauce.
