Apple Jam Fresh & Homemade



Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Apple - 2
  • Sugar - 1 cup (150 gm)
  • Lemon Juice- 1 tsp

Method

Apple pulp
  1. Cut and peel apples, chop into smaller pieces.
  2. Using mixer, make pulp of apples.
  3. Add sugar to apple pulp.
  4. Take a kadhai/ frying pan and put mix of sugar and apple pulp to heat on mid flame.
  5. Keep stirring in between to avoid burning the mix.
  6. After 20-25 minutes you can see the consistency will be similar to easy spread jam.
  7. Switch off flame and add lemon juice, mix well.
  8. Allow to cool, your fresh home made Apple jam is ready :)


 


Note: Since home made jam does not have any preservatives other than lemon juice, it is better to prepare in small quantities and consume quickly.
