Ingredients:
- Poha - 2 katori
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- curry leaves - few
- Salt - to taste
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- Potato- 1 boiled (will be quicker to use a boiled potato)
- Onion - 1 medium
- Tomato- 1 medium
- Ginger - 1 tsp, grated
- Green chili - 1 small
- Coriander leaves
- Peanuts - 1/2 katori
Poha to drain excess water. |
- Wash poha with water 2 times to remove loose dirt, strain out excess water in a strainer.
- Keep strainer on a vessel and pour some water on poha once more, to let the water drain out itself.
- Chop onion, tomato, green chilli, potato and keep aside
- Take kadhai / frying pan, add 2 tbsp oil, once oil is heated add mustard seeds.
- When mustard seeds start cracking, add chopped onion.
- When onion turns slighly brown, add chopped potato & curry leaves
- Saute for 3-4 minutes, Add salt, chilli, turmeric powder
- Let the masala cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomato, ginger, green chilli, saute till looks cooked
- Add poha to this mixture , slightly seperating it with your hands so that lumps are not formed.
- Mix poha well with cooked vegetables and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Either use roasted peanuts or Deep fry peanuts in some oil.
- Add peanuts to poha and Garnish with coriander :)

- Apple - 2 medium
- Milk - 3 glasses
- Water - 1/2 glass
- Sugar: 4 tbsp
- Ice cubes: 5-6
Method
- Add all ingredients in mixer and blend well for 2 minutes, open your blender jar and mix contents with a spoon, check consistency, if its too thick you can add some more water.
- Blend again with some ice cubes.
- Serve it cold.
